Partnership Opportunities

How can your business support YMCA Norfolk?

We believe that every young person should be able to reach their potential, no matter what their background or circumstances.

We are seeking support through creative partnerships with the business community of Norfolk who would like to demonstrate a commitment to young people in their community who face disadvantage.

Opportunities include; a Charity of the Year partnership, employee fundraising activities, corporate donations, sponsorship opportunities, payroll giving and gifts in kind.

The benefits to your business can include positive media coverage, increased staff morale and motivations and greater connections with the local community.

You could offer to choose us as your Charity of the Year. This could involve doing fundraising events, raising awareness of our work, or volunteering your time throughout the year. Having a designated ‘Charity of The Year’ can show a business’ commitment to their community and corporate social responsibility.

This could also boost team morale and create a sense of community among employees. Additionally, businesses can enjoy tax incentives and marketing benefits, enhancing their financial standing and brand recognition.

We have a whole range of events you can get involved in throughout the year – from our annual Sleep Easy event to sporting events such as Run Norwich. These are incredible ways to fundraise for us and can help build your team.

You’re also welcome to host your own fundraising events, such as charity golf days or fundraising balls. If you’d like some ideas of where to get started, or need support in setting them up, just get in touch!

Payroll giving is a simple and effective way for employees to contribute to charitable causes. Employees can choose to donate a portion of their salary directly to YMCA Norfolk. It offers convenience as the donation is deducted automatically from their paycheck.

Employees feel a sense of fulfilment by supporting causes they care about, and the donations are often tax-deductible, providing additional financial incentives. For charities, payroll giving provides a steady and reliable source of funding, enabling them to plan and execute their initiatives more effectively.

As a company or department, your employees could volunteer their time with us. This could involve doing an activity regularly with our young people, helping out at an event, or working in our charity shops for a day.

You can check out a range of volunteering opportunities here.
