YMCA Norfolk Aylsham Road opened its doors in April 2021, welcoming the public to our brand new cafe Williams’ Kitchen, Explorers’ Soft Play and Muddy Puddles Nursery. We’re a family-focused hub with the local community at the heart of everything we do.
You can find us at 61a Aylsham Road, Norwich, NR3 2HF – just off Edmund Bacon Court. Look for the giant ‘YMCA’!

We have a delicious cafe on site – Williams’ Kitchen – serving hot food 9.30am-3.30pm every weekday, and 10am-3.30pm on weekends.
The cafe menu was designed with taste buds in mind; we wanted to create a friendly, welcoming environment providing affordable, tasty and wholesome food.
Breakfast is served from 9.30am, and includes the likes of avocado and poached eggs on toast (a customer favourite!), a full English fry up, vegan breakfast and breakfast ciabatta.
We have tasty cakes and snacks available to purchase throughout the day, including our home-made scones (cheese and/or fruit) as well as our gluten-free and vegan sweet treats.
If you’re looking for a light bite for lunch we offer sausage rolls, ciabattas or jacket potatoes with fillings, or if you’re wanting a more hearty meal why not try our chilli con carne (vegan option available) or fish and chips.
Catering is available as an add-on to all of the above meeting room hire packages, and we can arrange a more bespoke package around you and your organisation’s needs/dietary requirements.
We just ask for 7 days notice for all catering add-ons (prior to your meeting room booking date).
