Norfolk Nightstop Plus
Who is it for?
Norfolk Nightstop Plus is for homeless young people in crisis aged 16-24 years. Entry is via referral from the Local Authority. Applicants require emergency accommodation and are low to high need, depending on the availability of Nightstop hosts.
What are the aims?
Young people are matched to hosts through a bespoke process to provide a safe and secure place whilst assessment is undertaken. The focus is on recovery from crisis and reunification with home, whilst assessing suitability for move on to other housing services.
What accommodation is available?
8 place are available across the county for up to 5 bed nights (further nights can be spot purchased). Furnished rooms and breakfast are provided in the homes of fully trained Nighstop hosts.
Who staffs Norfolk Nightstop Plus?
The service can be accessed between 12pm and 7pm. An out-of-hours emergency contact is available 24 hours a day, every day. The young person will be signposted to additional supported by the Nighstop worker.
