From Volunteering at YMCA to Opening Doors in Kenya

12th December 2017 by Robin Sansom

I started off as a volunteer at YMCA Norfolk during my time at UEA. My key role in the organisation was to strengthen the positive social impact among the young people of Norfolk County through various activities which are geared towards promoting sustainable development in the third world countries.

As a result, a new collaborative project with YWCA/YMCA Kenya young people has been born that will see an exchange programme between the two countries in the near future, with YMCANorfolk going to Kenya in February, 2018.
