DESCRIPTION:YMCA Norfolk President General the Lord Dannatt GCB\, CBE\, MC\, DL invites you to our 160th Celebration Ball. \nJoin us for an evening of fun and entertainment on Friday the 9th September 2016 at Sprowston Manor Hotel. \nThe evening starts at 7pm with a drinks reception\, followed by a three course dinner accompanied by live entertainment and photos. \nThroughout the event there will be a cash bar\, games and entertainment as well as a raffle. SUMMARY:YMCA Norfolk Exhibtion: Supporting Changing Needs in the Community for 160 years
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate YMCA Norfolk’s 160th anniversary year we have been running a project\, funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund to produce an exhibition that reveals the YMCA’s hidden history in Norfolk. Over the past few months young people at YMCA Norfolk have been finding out about the interesting and diverse history of the charity and have responded through visual interpretation\, deciding which stories are important to tell\, and by sharing their own experiences of the YMCA today. \nThe exhibition explores the diversity in the range of work and people involved in the YMCA as it supports the changing needs of local communities\, and will share some of the important work achieved throughout its history. \nOn display at the Museum of Norwich from 6th September – 17th October. Look out for dates of other locations across Norfolk coming soon!

DESCRIPTION:The Tour de Y: Norfolk Challenge is for cycling enthusiasts wanting to push themselves in a single day event. The route is 160km and will take approximately 10 hours. Starting at YMCA Norfolk’s accommodation centre in Central Norwich. Along the way we will take in areas of the county renowned for their scenic beauty including coastal areas\, Norfolk towns\, and the city of Norwich. \nFor more information about the event please click here to visit British Cycling. \nJoining instructions \nParticipants must be over the age of 18 by 28.05.2016 to take part. If you think you’re up for the challenge you can register on-line at Virgin Money Giving where you will be able to pay your registration fee and raise money. Click here to register now.  \nWe will then be in touch with all the information to get you ready for the day. Registration fee is £30.
