SUMMARY:YMCA Norfolk Exhibtion: Supporting Changing Needs in the Community for 160 years
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate YMCA Norfolk’s 160th anniversary year we have been running a project\, funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund to produce an exhibition that reveals the YMCA’s hidden history in Norfolk. Over the past few months young people at YMCA Norfolk have been finding out about the interesting and diverse history of the charity and have responded through visual interpretation\, deciding which stories are important to tell\, and by sharing their own experiences of the YMCA today. \nThe exhibition explores the diversity in the range of work and people involved in the YMCA as it supports the changing needs of local communities\, and will share some of the important work achieved throughout its history. \nOn display at the Museum of Norwich from 6th September – 17th October. Look out for dates of other locations across Norfolk coming soon!

DESCRIPTION:The Tour de Y: Norfolk Challenge is for cycling enthusiasts wanting to push themselves in a single day event. The route is 160km and will take approximately 10 hours. Starting at YMCA Norfolk’s accommodation centre in Central Norwich. If you think you’re up for the challenge you can register on-line at Virgin Money Giving where you will be able to pay your registration fee and raise money.
