DESCRIPTION:RUN FOR YOUR LOCAL YMCA \n\nYMCA Norfolk are looking for runners to sign up to Run Norwich on the 16th July 2023 and help YMCA Norfolk raise vital funds & much needed awareness.\n\nRun Norwich has been voted as the ‘Best 10k in the United Kingdom’ – presenting a scenic city centre course that takes runners through iconic landmarks such as Norwich Castle\, Norwich Cathedral and Carrow Road.\nThis year’s race route remains unchanged\, with the 10-kilometre course starting from outside the Norwich Theatre Royal.\n\nWhy run for us?\n\nYMCA Norfolk is a local independent charity committed to supporting young people in crisis to enable them to reach their full potential.\nEach night we provide a safe home for over 240 vulnerable young people across Norfolk that would otherwise be homeless or at risk of homelessness.\nWe support young people to develop their character\, strengthen their spirit\, develop living skills\, and access work\, education\, or training – eventually progressing into independent living. Moreover\, we support a further 14\,000 young people and families with through our wellbeing services as well as the delivery of our county-wide youth clubs.\n\nHow do I sign up?\n\nYou can sign up via Run Norwich website – on sale 9am\, Wed 15 Feb\nOnce you’ve completed your registration\, please email our community fundraiser Elsie – elsie.green@ymcanorfolk.org who will send you instructions on how to set up your fundraising page (you will also be provided with a YMCA top for the event!)\nThank you for supporting YMCA Norfolk.
