Position: Families Engagement Worker
Pay: £11.68 per hour
Location: YMCA Norfolk Offices, Aylsham Road with an element of travel within the county
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Hours per week: 15 hours per week
Job Role:
To build relationships of trust with vulnerable and marginalised single parents, children and young people, offering opportunities to improve their independence, skills, family cohesion and life chances.

What you’ll need to succeed:
You will have a proven record of sound advice across a range of parenting related issues. You will also have interpersonal skills, sufficient to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff and external contacts, and be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to excellence in family work delivery. Due to the nature of the work, you will be willing to work unsocial hours in this role where required.
