Bank Engagement Worker (Families)

£9.14 per hour + 12.069% uplift for holiday pay – Countywide – As and when required

The Role:

Do you like a challenge and making a difference to someone’s life on a daily basis?

Do you have a passion for working with families and supporting them to transform their lives?

YMCA Norfolk are looking for a Bank Engagement Workers to join their expanding Families team across Norfolk.

The successful candidate will provide ad hoc cover within service areas as required. The areas that will be covered by bank work are across all teams in the organisation but are primarily in the Housing, Families and Youth and Community teams. The areas of work can be across all sites within the Organisation as well at family homes and at centres we deliver detached youth work.

We are looking for someone to focus mainly on work within our Families Team.

What you’ll need to succeed:

A proven record of provision of sound advice across a range of parenting related issues. Great interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of staff and external contacts. You will be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to excellence in family work delivery. You will be prepared to work unsocial hours, hold a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
