One-to-One Parenting Support

Solution-focussed support using a variety of parenting tools to enhance parents’ skills and improve communication and decision-making within the family. Can be delivered at home or in the community.

Ideal for families with emerging issues as well as those with multiple and complex needs.

Includes 1 hour assessment visit / 6 hours of support /

Evaluation and feedback / 1 staff member

One-to-One Support for Children

To support children and young people to explore their feelings and wishes and develop coping strategies.

Ideal for children who require additional support with emotional and behavioural issues.

Includes 1 hour assessment with child/family / 6 hours of support /

Evaluation and feedback / 1 staff member

Time Together: Individual Family

Structured and supported opportunities for parents and children to develop confidence to engage with each other through craft-based activities and conversation.

Ideal for families needing support around playground learning where attachment may be an issue.

Includes 3x 1 hour sessions / Evaluation & feedback /

1 staff member

Time Together: 4-8 Families

Structured and supported opportunities for parents and children to develop confidence to engage with each other through craft-based activities and conversation.

Ideal for families needing support around play and learning where attachment may be an issue.

CRAFTY PARENTS (7 weeks) Exploring self esteem, managing feelings, understanding the power of language and setting limits and boundaries. Ideal for parents and carers wanting to enhance their parenting skills, utilising our parenting strategy toolkit. Level one accredited.

MY TIME (7 weeks) Exploring personal strengths and areas for development, fostering an awareness of wellbeing and mindfulness making short and long terms goals. Level 1

Accredited. Ideal for those who want to raise aspirations for themselves and their families.

Includes meeting to discuss referrals and assess needs /

7x 3.5 hour weekly sessions / Evaluation and feedback /

STRESS MATTERS Exploring how stress feels, the possible causes and how to manage it.

LEARNING MATTERS To enhance parents’ confidence to support their children’s learning.

COMMUNICATION MATTERS The effective use of language and the exploration of

different styles of communication.

CONFIDENCE MATTERS To support parents to recognise how confidence can look within themselves and how this can have a positive effect on their children.

BESPOKE WORKSHOP Structured around specific needs.

Ideal for parents or carers who may have had poor previous educational experiences and may have low levels of functional skills.

Includes meeting to discuss families’ needs and take referrals /

A playground meet and greet to promote school events and Family Matters courses and workshops to parents and carers. Ideal for schools wanting to improve the parental engagement with courses, workshops and events.
