Families Engagement Worker (Schools Work)
£10.24 per hour – 22.5 hours per week Term Time Only – Fixed Term Contract until July 2019

YMCA Norfolk are looking for a Families Engagement Worker to join their team across Norfolk. This role will be 22.5 hours per week working in schools in Lowestoft, Gorleston, Bungay and Beccles.
The successful candidate will build relationships of trust with vulnerable and marginalised parents and families within the community. The aim is to be part of the prevention of care under the Alternatives to Care provision, and/or providing opportunities to enable reunification within the family unit. We can provide support and advice, build parents confidence and skills. Empowering families to experience transformation in their lives.

What you’ll need to succeed:
A proven record of provision of sound advice across a range of parenting related issues. Great interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of staff and external contacts. You will be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to excellence in family work delivery. You will be prepared to work unsocial hours, hold a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
