YMCA Norfolk is inviting the local community, businesses, young people, staff and volunteers to an Annual Celebration Ball at Sprowston Manor Hotel on Friday September 28.
The black-tie event will run from 7.30pm until midnight and includes a 3-course dinner and music by band Wapscallions.
The Norfolk youth charity is offering those attending the event the opportunity to get involved in a silent auction, which will include art pieces designed by YMCA’s young people.
The pieces of art are related to each young person’s experiences and will include hand-drawn sketches and photography. All proceeds of the evening will go towards supporting vulnerable young people in Norfolk.
The event will also consist of a raffle, dancing, sing-off and speeches from young people, who will share their stories.
YMCA Norfolk’s Chief Executive, Tim Sweeting, said: “We’re really looking forward to showing off the amazing artwork and giving guests the opportunity to buy these one-off pieces, all in aid of a great local charity.
“We know how to party in the YMCA so everyone who comes is sure of a good time but this auction means that guests can leave with a feel-good reminder that will make all the difference to our work.”
